The Media Institute of Southern Africa Namibia Chapter was officially launched in November 1998. The Chapter is one of 11 chapters in the SADC countries that form MISA. Since its inception MISA has its focus on the need to promote free, independent and pluralistic media as envisaged in the Windhoek Declaration
